House of David Echoes Baseball Schedule
All home matches are played on Eastman Field, Mary's City of David, and Benton Harbor. This vintage base ball team plays historic games using pre-Civil War era (1858 rules). To launch the season: Echoes play the Blossomtime Royals April 26 at 3:30 PM.

Join the Berrien Birding Club, which sponsors regular outings. Scheduled field trips are open to all. So grab your binoculars and join us sometime!

Blossomtime Grand Floral Parade on May 2, 1:00 pm
This year, Blossomtime will celebrate its 103rd year as Queens were crowned in 24 local communities and compete for the 2009 Miss Blossomtime crown. Held on the first Saturday in May in downtown St. Joseph & Benton Harbor, the Grand Floral Parade now lasts two hours and boasts over 125 units including floats, bands, clowns, costumed characters, antique cars and tractors and the famed Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Motorcycle Drill.  The Blossomtime Festival is the oldest and largest multi-community festival in the state of Michigan.  Go to www.blossomtimefestival.org for more information.

Bees and Botanical Gardens
Stop at Fernwood Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve (13988 Range Line Road, Niles, MI 49120) for inspiration, relaxation, education, or shopping.  There are bus tours, classes on birds, blooms, and yoga and much more.
Note:  the herb Society Tea is April 24 and the 2009 spring plant sale is May 8-10.
