Wine festivals run abound during the summer months in Southwest Michigan, but with craft-brewed beer rising steadily in popularity across the country, a gathering of breweries from around the state of Michigan is a sure-fire way to bring good people and good beer together.
Saturday, October 1st marks the second annual Weko Beach Brewers Festival in Bridgman – a happy (or hoppy, if you’ll excuse the pun) event showcasing a vast array of handcrafted beers produced in Michigan.

Thousands of cyclists are preparing to hit the pavement for this year’s Apple Cider Century, an annual bicycle tour of the orchards, forests and wine country in and around Three Oaks, Michigan.
On Sunday, September 25, cyclists from 29 states across the country (Canada, too) will participate in a 15, 25, 37, 50, 62, 75 or 100-mile ride around Michigan’s Berrien County and Indiana’s La Porte County.
