Waterfront Film Festival has added a full day of Saturday outdoor music to its entertainment lineup. The inaugural event will kick of at noon in Wicks Park at the corner of Water and Mary Streets on the water. Tickets are $5 at the gate, and attendees can come and go to fit both music and movies into their day.
Waterfront Film Festival has become known as “a laid back Sundance”, and has been named in Screen Actors Guild magazine by SAGIndie as one of the top five film festivals in the world, alongside Sundance and Cannes.
Music begins at 12:45 p.m. with folk singer/songwriter Ralston Bowles. He will be followed by classic rock from the Sookie Jones Band, “Big Tent Country & Western” from Jukejoint Handmedowns, the synch-pop of Alexis, indie pop from Karisa Wilson and family-friendly rap from Ryan Scott.
