Arbor Day at Fernwood
What: Arbor Day tree planting has endured as an old tradition and continues to gain significance as an aesthetic means of buffering the changes in our climate. Trees can shade and cool our homes, filter our air, and simply beautify our surroundings. Meet in the Visitors Center at Fernwood this Arbor Day, Friday, April 27, at 10:00 am for our ceremonial tree planting and take home a free sapling of your choice. To learn more visit the Arbor Day Foundation website. Free with paid Fernwood admission; Fernwood members free.
Where: Fernwood Botanical Garden, 13988 Range Line Road, Niles, MI, 49120
