DESCRIPTION:
Jessica Miller is an artist from the Chicago area, and her artwork will be on display at The Vickers Theatre in Three Oaks throughout the Month of May. Jessica has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. Growing up in rural Wisconsin she spent a great deal of time outdoors and this is reflected in her art work. Most of her paintings feature wildlife as the primary subject matter. The majority of her work is done in acrylic and oil paint but she has been known to add an extra dimension with the use of gel media or metallic. Jessica has taken the creative process one step further by also constructing her own frames. She is inspired by the flora and fauna of the peaceful woods of New Buffalo, Michigan. A recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin- River Falls, she majored in Business Administration and Art. Her work has been displayed in several juried shows but this is her first solo exhibit.
