“It’s kind of crazy. All of this is good.” That’s what one diner remarked during the latest BlueStarHighway.com team dinner at Jimmy’s in New Buffalo, Michigan. Sounds like music to co-owner Jim Frye’s ears.

Jimmy’s takeout menu proudly states at the top, “It’s NOT what you would expect in a strip mall.” This is true; inside the restaurant is a cool scene almost like a cocktail or martini bar. But I will argue one thing in regards to strip malls: they often include hidden restaurant gems.
